Sales Representative – Nutrition

About the role

Abbott’s Nutrition Division is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth of its science‑based nutrition products across the Santa Ana territory in Costa Rica. You will work directly with health‑care professionals (HCPs) to increase awareness, preference, and usage of Abbott brands such as Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure® and Glucerna®.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market and category opportunities within the territory to grow market share at the customer/account level.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical and nutritional science, the evolving health‑care landscape, and emerging digital trends.
• Develop and execute multichannel customer‑engagement plans that generate demand for Abbott products and increase HCP recommendations.
• Leverage customer segmentation data to inform engagement and account‑management strategies.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs at all levels of influence within the territory.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of market dynamics and ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Deep interest in medical and nutritional science and willingness to stay current on industry developments.
• Proven ability to design and implement multichannel engagement strategies.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with health‑care professionals.
