Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Safety Supervisor will lead the Occupational Health and Safety Management System at Coca‑Cola’s new Industry 4.0 plant in Liberia, Costa Rica. You will champion a zero‑incident culture, integrating safety by design into daily operations and supporting the plant’s high‑performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the ISO 45001‑based OHS management system.
• Develop, implement and monitor the annual safety program and prevention plans.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits and prepare for external audits.
• Drive safety‑by‑design initiatives, manage change processes and apply engineering controls.
• Measure, analyse and report safety indicators to enable predictive prevention.
• Coordinate training, emergency response activities and incident investigations.
• Foster a collaborative, sustainable safety culture across the plant.

Required profile

• University degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Safety or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of safety experience, preferably in industrial or food‑and‑beverage plants.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and working with ISO 45001.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Liberia, Guanacaste (100% on‑site).
