RTR Specialist II

About the role

The RTR Specialist II supports Emerson's finance function by ensuring accurate journal entries, timely accruals, and reliable financial reporting. You will work closely with business units, audit teams, and continuous improvement groups to maintain high‑quality financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post manual journal entries as requested.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals.
• Meet targets and deliverables according to SLA guidelines.
• Conduct knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Identify and propose process‑improvement opportunities.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Participate in monthly financial statement reporting.
• Develop analyses and information for business units.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in general accounting or a Big 4 environment.
• Experience in shared‑services settings is a plus.
• Strong understanding of key financial indicators.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2).

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (preferred).
• Reporting tools like Hyperion (preferred).
• Advanced Excel and/or Power BI capabilities.
