Roaming Testing Engineer I

About the role

The Roaming Testing Engineer I will execute IREG testing in line with GSM standards, ensuring seamless roaming services for new partner networks. The role involves setting up network elements, performing test plans, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the roaming implementation process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute IREG testing procedures for new roaming partners.
• Provide switching and signaling support for partner network set‑up.
• Perform network translations and configure switches, SGSN/GGSN and SMSC for roaming services.
• Schedule, run and document all IREG test activities, adhering to GSM standards.
• Troubleshoot SS7 messages and resolve roaming service failures.
• Manage test plans, schedules and project reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in IREG testing or telecom roaming implementation.
• Strong analytical, multitasking and communication abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team.
