Road Logistics Specialist – Customer Care

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team, you will support road logistics operations by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient, cost‑effective freight solutions for a variety of shipments, from medicines to machine parts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to customers, clients, and vendors while meeting service metrics, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Use expertise in LTL, volume, and full‑truckload transportation to select the most efficient shipping options.
• Perform daily freight planning to maximize carrier utilization and profitability.
• Manage and process transportation files according to company policies.
• Identify and resolve logistics service issues and non‑conformities through proactive problem‑solving.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for load planning, reporting, and data analysis.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance process quality and operational efficiency.
• Communicate successes, challenges, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
• Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or customer‑service environments.
• Experience in transportation operations, carrier management, or carrier development.
• Strong understanding of LTL and truckload transportation operations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
