Risk Mining Analyst II – Account Integrity

About the role

Amazon’s Account Integrity team is seeking a Risk Mining Analyst II to analyze large data sets, detect fraudulent patterns, and help protect genuine customers. The role involves partnering with product managers, scientists, and engineers to design and deploy rules that prevent bad actors from accessing Amazon’s platform.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve data sets, pipelines, and reporting to track KPIs in the Account Integrity space.
• Analyze complex customer trends, develop attributes, and incorporate them into static rules for automated deployment.
• Operate on‑call rotations to respond to high‑severity events impacting Amazon.
• Design alarm systems, derive actionable insights, and guide product strategy using quantitative analysis and data visualization.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses using SQL and BI tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in compliance program management, risk/loss prevention, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate complex analysis to stakeholders.
