Risk Mining Analyst II – Account Integrity

About the role
Amazon’s Account Integrity team is seeking a results‑driven Risk Mining Analyst II to help detect fraudulent activity, protect genuine customers, and maintain trust across the platform. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to analyze large data sets, uncover bad‑actor patterns, and translate insights into actionable rules.
Key responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and improve data pipelines, datasets, and reporting to track key performance indicators for account integrity.
- Analyze complex customer trends, develop attributes, and embed them into static rules for automated deployment.
- Participate in on‑call rotations to respond to high‑severity fraud events and implement short‑term mitigation rules.
- Design alarm systems, dashboards, and visualizations using SQL and BI tools to surface actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Support cross‑functional teams in day‑to‑day project execution and process‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong quantitative and analytical mindset with experience handling large data sets.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.
