Retreat Concierge – Guest Services in Cartago, Costa Rica

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Retreat Concierge to join our team at a private mountain retreat center in Cartago, Costa Rica. The role focuses on delivering seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure, supporting daily operations and ensuring high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in, orientation and on‑site assistance.
• Support set‑up, logistics coordination and overall retreat operations.
• Assist with food handling and meal service while adhering to safety standards.
• Coordinate transportation, arrivals, departures and excursions.
• Identify and resolve guest issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with guests and internal teams in English and Spanish.
• Maintain accurate records using Google Drive, documents and spreadsheets.

Required profile

• Valid B1 driver’s license and clean criminal record.
• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service or retreat support.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varied shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for guest service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Drive and related productivity tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT tools.
