Remote Hospitality Bookkeeper (Contractor)

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support our hospitality clients. You will work remotely, handling daily hotel accounting tasks and providing accurate financial reporting for high‑growth hotel brands.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile daily hotel transactions, including room revenue, food & beverage, and ancillary services.
• Prepare month‑end close, financial statements, and bespoke reports for hotel management.
• Maintain and update general ledger entries in SAGE or QuickBooks.
• Collaborate with client leadership to address financial queries and improve reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with hotel accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting workflows and daily financial operations.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced remote environment.
