Remote DevOps Engineer (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight, a fast‑growing software consultancy, is seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer to support its Latin American clients. You will work on innovative projects, helping design, build, and maintain cloud‑native solutions while collaborating with a diverse, distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and integrate new and legacy applications on cloud platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and related tooling.
• Maintain configuration management systems (Helm, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Monitor, secure, and scale environments to meet demand.
• Collaborate with high‑growth technology clients to improve operational practices.
• Identify and propose enhancements, new features, and services for production.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with configuration‑management tools such as Helm, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Ability to perform testing, code reviews, and communicate effectively.
