About the role

The Regente de Droguería will lead the technical direction, quality control and logistics of a pharmaceutical distribution center. Reporting to the General Management, the role oversees a small team and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements for controlled substances.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize product entry permits and release product batches for wholesale distribution.
• Supervise and record the receipt and dispatch of controlled medicines, narcotics and psychotropics in accordance with current legislation.
• Guarantee identity, efficacy, purity and safety of stored inputs and implement the Quality Management System following Good Storage and Distribution Practices (BPAD).
• Coordinate inspections from health authorities and professional pharmacy boards.
• Monitor critical environmental conditions (cold chain, temperature, humidity) to preserve product integrity.
• Manage inventory, track expiration dates, and organise regulatory disposals or destructions.
• Investigate and respond to technical complaints related to transport or storage.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmacy with active registration in the corresponding College of Pharmacists.
• Current permits to practice pharmacy management and, if required, a certified digital signature.
• 2‑3 years of experience in technical leadership roles within drugstores, pharmaceutical laboratories or health‑logistics distribution centres.
• Strong knowledge of national and international health regulations and proven implementation of internal audit systems.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of sanitary regulations (national and international).
• Implementation and auditing of quality management systems (BPAD).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel for database and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP inventory systems, specifically Odoo.
• Report writing and handling of certified digital signatures.
• Cold‑chain monitoring and environmental control.
