Refrigeration Utility Technician III

About the role

The Refrigeration Utility Technician III performs complex industrial maintenance and troubleshooting on ammonia‑based refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The role involves preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of the industrial ammonia system, including exposure to water‑treatment chemicals.
• Perform preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance using CMMS and other tools.
• Document work performed and conditions found in the maintenance computer system.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts following standard safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and provide feedback to management.

Required profile

• Possess one or more refrigeration operations certifications.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Process Safety Management.
