Purchasing Specialist – Procurement Operations

About the role
We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing, order processing and vendor management for our global clients.
Key responsibilities
- Review purchase requisitions and select appropriate suppliers according to approved purchasing strategies.
- Generate purchase orders from approved requisitions and route high‑value items to senior buyers when needed.
- Process non‑electronic purchase orders, identify and resolve PO/PR issues, and maintain vendor master records.
- Collaborate with buyers, client groups and suppliers to resolve delivery, invoice, and damaged‑goods issues.
- Obtain price information from approved suppliers and advise customers of any modifications.
- Execute online events such as RFPs and auctions on client systems and provide related training.
- Generate and distribute reports related to procurement activities.
Required profile
- Experience in procurement or purchasing operations, including PO creation and vendor management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies in invoices and shipments.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
