Project Manager – Technology Projects

About the role

SoftwareOne is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, customer‑facing technology projects. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, ensure profitability, and maintain a strong customer experience across our services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close technology projects while aligning with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
• Manage project financials – budget, forecasts, burn rate, resource utilization, margin impact and variance analysis.
• Drive governance across scope, schedule, cost, risk, issues, changes, stakeholders and vendors.
• Develop integrated project plans, status reports, decision logs, RAID logs and executive communications.
• Identify commercial and operational impacts of scope changes and partner with delivery/account leadership for change control.
• Serve as the primary customer‑facing delivery leader, translating objectives into actionable plans and providing transparent project health updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience managing executive‑level communications, steering committees, stakeholder expectations and project recovery initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, senior stakeholders, technical specialists, vendors and customer teams across multiple workstreams and regions.
• Strong project and financial management expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and profitability management.
• Experience delivering full‑lifecycle technology implementations in areas such as Microsoft Services, AWS, Application Development, Data Analytics, AI, ServiceNow, SAP or FinOps.
• Advanced English communication skills.
