Project Manager, Molding

About the role

This position applies advanced professional knowledge of business project management to execute and oversee end‑to‑end molding projects, delivering reliable, high‑quality outcomes for medical device components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, risk assessments and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Development, Procurement, PDS&T and external suppliers.
• Lead mold testing, qualification, and validation activities, including IQ, OQ and PQ.
• Assess supplier technical capabilities, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions for mold performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Materials, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (Master preferred).
• 10–26 years of experience in injection molding projects (NPI, improvements, transfers).
• Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2) and strong English proficiency (B2+).

Required skills

• Injection molding project management for medical devices (ISO 13485, FDA CFR 820).
• Technical drawing interpretation and CAD tools (AutoCAD, 2D/3D).
• Statistical quality tools (CPK, process capability analysis).
