Professional Services Consultant - Treasury

About the role

FreeBalance is seeking a Professional Services Consultant – Treasury to join its San José office. The consultant will partner with government clients to deliver end‑to‑end Treasury solutions, covering requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training and knowledge transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and deploy FreeBalance Treasury solutions following the ISO 9001:2015 certified methodology.
• Conduct business requirements reviews with public‑sector clients and document Treasury and Public Financial Management needs.
• Map client Treasury processes to FreeBalance functionality, produce functional documentation and obtain client sign‑off.
• Configure cash management, cash forecasting, banking, payments and receipts modules and demonstrate the solution.
• Develop test plans, lead User Acceptance Testing and support integration with budgeting, accounting, AP/AR and General Ledger.
• Create training materials, deliver product and Train‑the‑Trainer sessions and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of Information Systems experience, including at least 5 years implementing ERP or financial management solutions.
• Strong functional knowledge of Treasury and Public Financial Management processes.
• Proven experience with government or public‑sector clients and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
