Planner

About the role

Biomerics is seeking an experienced Planner to manage complex production plans, integrating demand, capacity, materials, inventory and business priorities to meet customer commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, control and maintain complex production schedules considering demand, capacity, material availability and business priorities.
• Analyze demand changes, capacity constraints and material shortages, recommending actions to minimize impact on production and deliveries.
• Communicate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality and other functions to align priorities and ensure plan execution.
• Maintain contact with customers to follow up on priorities, delivery dates and demand changes.
• Monitor key indicators such as schedule adherence, service level, inventory, past‑due orders and shortages, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on critical material management and support contingency planning.
• Ensure planning data integrity in ERP/MRP systems and provide technical guidance to less‑experienced planners.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen planning processes and increase reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory control or supply planning.
• Solid knowledge of MRP, capacity management and supply chain principles.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to solve problems with limited supervision.
• Intermediate‑advanced English (B2) and ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
