Production Planner / Scheduler

About the role

The Production Planner/Scheduler ensures that weekly production volumes are met by coordinating materials, engineering, and quality assumptions. The role follows customer‑driven priorities and inventory positions while managing order creation, aging orders, and inventory cycle counts.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate production schedules across equipment and processes (formulation, filtration, aseptic filling, packaging, labeling, BioCoat).
• Lead weekly allocation adjustments, balancing capacity and customer needs.
• Print, verify, and distribute production orders to the appropriate teams.
• Close and resolve production orders, adjust material records, and initiate quality events when needed.
• Collaborate with Finance to reconcile financial variances and aging orders.
• Perform cycle counting of Kanban inventory, investigate discrepancies, and update system data.
• Escalate any roadblocks that could impact the schedule.
• Maintain the Batch Tracker with release dates, work‑order status, QC status, and shipping information.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and ensure compliance with safety, SOPs, cGMP, and GDP/GMP guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum English proficiency level B2.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes related to the assigned area.
• Strong problem‑solving, influencing, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
