Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Consultant – Global Strategy & Consulting

About the role

We are seeking a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Consultant to join our global consulting network. The role focuses on engineering and R&D digitization projects, helping clients transform product development processes through PLM, BOM, master data, and digital‑thread solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engineering and R&D transformation programs that drive innovation and process enablement for clients.
• Develop and maintain assets and offerings in PLM Enablement, Integrated BOM, Product & Engineering Master Data Management, and Digital Twin & Thread.
• Co‑develop use cases, assets, and solutions with business teams and senior managers.
• Enable R&D transformation by creating business processes for package/product design, part management, bill of material management, engineering change management, document management, product structure, product research, simulations, prototyping, product testing (qualitative & quantitative), and supplier collaboration.
• Support proposal development and build thought‑leadership in engineering and R&D digitization.

Required profile

• Motivated and proactive professional with strong engineering and PLM transformation expertise.
• In‑depth understanding of product data management, PLM processes, and digital‑thread concepts.
• Ability to work closely with managers and senior managers to define and deliver solutions.
