Principal Poker Platform Lead

About the role

BettingJobs is seeking a Poker Platform Lead for an established iGaming operator in San José, Costa Rica. You will shape the poker product vision and own its delivery, driving the product at a pivotal growth stage.

Key responsibilities

• Shape product vision and priorities alongside the Head of Poker.
• Own product intent, requirements and business decisions with development partners.
• Lead cross‑team discussions, reconcile competing views and build buy‑in.
• Identify improvements to the product and ways of working, including AI‑enabled workflows.
• Use player insight and data to challenge assumptions and guide decisions.
• Represent player and business interests in release readiness, major changes and incidents.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of and passion for poker, its players, products and competitive landscape.
• Strong data fluency: able to frame questions, interpret results and translate findings into decisions.
• Commercial judgement across growth, retention and monetisation, balanced with player value.
• Proven ability to influence and gain commitment without formal authority.
• Clear communicator who turns complex discussions into requirements and priorities.
