Principal Analyst, Sales Compensation Systems & Administration

About the role

Elastic is building a world-class global sales compensation organisation and is looking for a Principal Analyst to drive accuracy and efficiency in its sales compensation processes and reporting. The role ensures the growing global sales organisation has a robust, scalable commissions process that meets the company's scaling business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monthly and quarterly close cycles for accruals, payments and general system updates in the Sales Incentive tool, Xactly Incent
• Own SOX reviews, compliance and continuous improvement
• Identify system improvements and work with IT and key partners to implement technologies that enhance compensation processes
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales compensation data, using Xactly and Salesforce data analysis and reporting tools
• Design, plan and run user acceptance testing for the annual compensation plan reset and special projects, document results and coordinate with IT and other departments
• Train and support sales teams and stakeholders on compensation plans, processes and system changes

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, operations or analytics, including knowledge of year-end and month close activities
• 3+ years with Xactly Incent and Analytics commission software or similar, plus experience with Workday and ServiceNow
• Proven track record designing and executing complex user acceptance testing and system implementation projects
• Strong analytical and communication skills, thrives in fast-paced environments and works well both independently and across departments
