Presentation Designer

About the role

The Brand Experience Team is looking for a Presentation Designer for a temporary 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension, to raise the quality, consistency and impact of presentations across its portfolio of transportation and logistics services. The designer builds visually compelling, strategically structured decks in PowerPoint, from sales pitch decks and discovery decks to quarterly business reviews and event keynotes, and works under the guidance of a Creative Director.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build executive-level presentations in PowerPoint that work seamlessly on Mac and PC
• Create brand-aligned sales pitch decks, discovery decks, quarterly business review decks and event keynotes
• Develop motion and animation styles that guide the viewer's eye and enhance storytelling
• Turn complex data and strategy into clear slides using infographics, iconography, data visualization and typography
• Build and maintain presentation templates, style guides and component libraries
• Test all work across Mac and PC so fonts, animations, layouts and transitions render correctly
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Content Strategists and Business Partners, and present design concepts to leadership
• Manage several projects at once and deliver pixel-perfect work under tight deadlines

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in presentation design, deck design or a related visual design discipline
• An online portfolio showing presentation design work, including motion and animation
• Expert-level PowerPoint skills and experience building and testing decks on Mac and PC
• Understanding of layout, typography, colour theory and data visualization
• Experience building design systems such as reusable layouts, component libraries and narrative frameworks
• B2+ English and strong communication skills
