Portfolio Project Specialist – Advanced Materials

About the role

The Portfolio Project Specialist supports the Advanced Materials Division by optimizing the Americas product portfolio. Reporting to the Product Portfolio Manager, the role acts as a cross‑functional partner to ensure data integrity, effective lifecycle execution, and alignment across commercial, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product portfolio management processes and track lifecycle performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional portfolio projects with Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to evaluate portfolio costs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain product portfolio data in SAP and Master Data systems, ensuring compliance with change‑control procedures.
• Review and track portfolio costs, support the innovation stage‑gate process, and validate capacity and timelines for opportunity pipeline projects.
• Monitor project‑related inventory, manage sample inventory, and collaborate with Operational Marketing.

Required profile

• Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
• Ability to work onsite at the AFZ, Heredia office on designated days.
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder coordination skills in a collaborative environment.
