Pilot Line Engineer – High‑Speed Digital ATE

About the role

Teradyne is looking for an experienced Pilot Line Electrical Engineer to join the New Products Introduction team. You will act as a subject‑matter expert on high‑speed digital ATE technologies, supporting the transition from development to manufacturing and ensuring product reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the design cycle, providing feedback that enables long‑term manufacturing processes.
• Report hardware, software, process and manufacturing bugs and track them to root‑cause resolution.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project deliverables, offering proactive solutions.
• Provide engineering EAS support and collect product data.
• Execute and continuously improve processes to achieve product and process stability.
• Collaborate with all engineering disciplines to launch high‑yield, reliable ATE instrumentation.
• Supply data and evidence to assess hardware, software and process stability for decision‑making.
• Document test procedures and train CM and GCS users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to analyse and present data efficiently during daily status, FRACA and FRB meetings.
• Deep understanding of ATE or measurement‑system fundamentals.
• Knowledge of design and reliability processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills down to component level.
• Excellent English communication skills.
