Payroll Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join Sysco’s global payroll team. The analyst will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing for multiple business units while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions, perform validations, reconciliations and quality reviews for assigned units.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, exceptions and employee inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local and company payroll requirements, including wage attachments, deductions and tax adjustments.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for Workday Payroll, Payroll eTIME, ADP EV5 and related applications; support testing, upgrades and system issue resolution.
• Collaborate with HRIS, IT and business partners to ensure data integrity across payroll interfaces.
• Provide responsive support through Salesforce, shared mailboxes and other channels, building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Support SOX controls, participate in audits and maintain accurate payroll documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in high‑volume payroll processing.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
