Part-Time Technical Recruiter for eCommerce & Finance (Remote)

About the role

Tidal is seeking a proactive part‑time recruiter to help its clients hire talent across finance, eCommerce, operations, technology and AI‑focused positions. The role is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, allowing you to work 20‑30 hours per week while leveraging your expertise in Shopify‑based DTC brands and founder‑led environments.

Key responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, tech, AI support and eCommerce roles.
• Identify talent with experience supporting Shopify DTC brands, founder‑led companies or eCommerce agencies.
• Conduct structured initial interviews assessing communication, ownership, autonomy and operational fit.
• Evaluate resumes beyond keywords to uncover transferable operational experience.
• Build and maintain organized recruitment pipelines, trackers and candidate databases.
• Collaborate with leadership on candidate quality, hiring priorities and calibration.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, follow‑ups and candidate communications.
• Help improve sourcing systems, workflows and hiring quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent sourcing or talent acquisition.
• Strong background recruiting for eCommerce, finance/accounting, operations or remote contractor roles.
• Deep understanding of Shopify‑based eCommerce brands and DTC business models.
• Excellent written and verbal English (C1/C2 level).
• Highly organized, proactive and comfortable working independently.
