Operator - Laundry (CR)

About the role

The Laundry Operator works in a clean‑room environment (ISO Class 7) to ensure that all textile and component items are properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for downstream production. Under close supervision, the operator follows strict process specifications and maintains high standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and classify batches of items according to type, soil level, and required cleaning technique.
• Manually remove stains when necessary and load items into industrial washers and dryers.
• Operate washers and dryers, adjust valves or levers, and monitor cycles to ensure proper cleaning.
• Separate damaged items for repair and re‑process items that remain stained after a cycle.
• Count, fold, pack, and organize cleaned items; restock bulk supplies in designated storage locations.
• Maintain constant cleanliness of the industrial laundry area and follow PPE requirements.
• Report first‑aid incidents and near‑misses, and adhere to clean‑room and GMP protocols.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities, 6S organization, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Support internal manufacturing schedules to achieve on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of experience in production, preferably in a clean‑room environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to protocols.
• Flexibility, proactive mindset, and motivation to learn clean‑room procedures.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of clean‑room protocols (ISO Class 7).
• Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 6S methodology.
