Operations Manager – MLD (Costa Rica)

About the role

The Manager I, MLD Operations role leads a front‑line team that verifies product placement in fulfillment centers using the Global Operations AI (GO‑AI) model. Based in Costa Rica, the manager ensures high‑quality stow verification, drives performance, and supports continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20‑25 associates, providing 1:1 guidance and performance feedback.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics, implement action plans, and resolve productivity barriers.
• Track tickets, manage blocks to productivity, and ensure maximum output through training and feedback.
• Identify and execute process improvements using Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies.
• Collaborate with Program Management and global operations leads to manage risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Oversee scheduling, attendance, and time‑off planning in partnership with Workforce Management.
• Represent the Voice of the Customer/associate during Gemba walks and continuous‑improvement events.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and planning work schedules.
• Strong background in performance management, coaching, and employee engagement.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate excellent time‑management, and handle sensitive issues professionally.
