Operations Associate Specialist (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Operations Associate Specialist to support our client’s loan servicing operations on a freelance basis. You will ensure data accuracy, manage documentation, and act as a liaison between servicers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and enter employee loan information, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
• Review participant and employer documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor the operations inbox, respond to inquiries, and escalate issues when needed.
• Communicate with student loan servicers and financial institutions to resolve discrepancies and confirm payments.
• Assist with monthly invoicing, reconciling data for accurate billing.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Product, and other internal departments to improve processes.
• Maintain high‑quality standards and follow established workflows.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in an operations or administrative role.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new challenges, and grow within the role.

What we offer
