About the role
Under the general supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Clerk III is responsible for posting cash, performing account reconciliation and payment research, and quickly resolving issues that arise. This role supports the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of receivables.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash postings and perform account reconciliations.
- Conduct payment research and resolve discrepancies.
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls professionally while meeting daily targets.
- Respond to customer emails promptly and document all inquiries.
- Maintain frequent contact with internal and external customers to address payment issues and initiate dispute resolution.
Required profile
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in business administration, accounting, or related fields.
- 2‑4 years of directly related experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounting principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
