Operador/a de Sala de Control

About the role

Holcim is looking for a Control Room Operator to work at its Cartago plant. You will be responsible for running the production line safely and efficiently, ensuring raw material supply and meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the production line under strict quality and safety regulations.
• Start‑up and shut‑down equipment on the line in an efficient manner.
• Adjust process parameters to achieve required production goals.
• Support the coordinator during scheduled or emergency kiln shutdowns.
• Perform technical measurements and monitor process variables to maintain standardization.
• Ensure continuous supply of raw materials and inputs for uninterrupted operation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a production technician or supervisor.
• Experience handling chemicals and operating thermal systems.
• Technical degree or qualification in chemical engineering, business administration, or materials engineering.
• Availability to work rotating shifts.
