About the role

Banco BCT is looking for a Senior Technical Support Officer to lead the end‑user support function for Corporación BCT, S.A. The professional will manage Level 1 and Level 2 service‑desk activities, act as a technical reference, and ensure high‑quality resolution of complex incidents and requests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑user service desk (Level 1 & 2) and handle incident, problem and request tickets.
• Analyse, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing clear documentation of solutions.
• Participate in continuous‑process improvement, knowledge transfer and documentation of best practices.
• Manage tickets through the ICT service‑desk tool and promote collaboration across technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s information‑security policies and service‑desk procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in similar technical‑support positions.
• Intermediate English proficiency (desired).
• Strong teamwork, initiative, analytical thinking, critical thinking, assertive communication and results‑orientation.

Required skills

• Active Directory (AD) administration.
• DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
• DNS management.
