Molding Process Technician I (Shift B)

About the role

Philips is hiring a Molding Process Technician I (Shift B) for an onsite position. The technician starts up, operates and troubleshoots thermoplastic and LSR injection molding equipment and processes to complete work orders, applying Lean tools to improve processes. The role is onsite, Monday to Friday from 3:36 pm to 10:00 pm, with Saturday shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment and processes, keeping molds clean and meeting quality standards.
• Troubleshoot molding equipment and processes, find the root causes of defects and complete work orders efficiently.
• Support product and process improvements and help Manufacturing Engineers/Managers.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety practices.
• Train and mentor other Molding Process Technicians.

Required profile

• High school education (minimum 9th grade); Plastic Process Technician certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience as a Molding Technician, preferably in medical companies.
• Knowledge of safety practices and the ability to self-train.
• Basic English skills; proficiency in Word and Excel preferred.
