Mid Support Engineer (Production Support)

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Mid Support Engineer to provide production support, continuous monitoring and incident resolution for US regional applications. The position is remote and open to candidates based in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support, continuous monitoring and incident resolution for US regional applications to minimize downtime and ensure SLA compliance.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL DDL and DML queries, including joins, aggregate functions and CASE statements, in Oracle database environments.
• Monitor and analyze server logs with tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace, creating dashboards and alerts for proactive incident detection.
• Support CI/CD and deployment activities using GitHub and Jenkins while troubleshooting applications and maintaining the required infrastructure.

Required profile

• 3-8 years of relevant experience in production support or related technical support environments.
• Linux-based infrastructure and cloud services experience.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools, and with creating and optimizing monitoring alerts and dashboards.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incidents, problems and RFCs.
• Preferred: 24/7 production environment experience, familiarity with Data Management & Analytics environments, and experience with strict SLA and availability requirements.
