About the role

Medi Red Costa Rica is seeking a dedicated General Physician to provide high‑quality medical care to both residents and international visitors in the tourist‑rich area of Hacienda Pinilla, Guanacaste. The position is full‑time and temporary, offering a dynamic, multicultural environment where clinical decision‑making and patient interaction are central.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct general medical consultations for out‑patient and in‑home patients.
• Manage urgent and emergency cases both in the clinic and during home visits.
• Assess, stabilize, and refer patients according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and other medical staff.
• Communicate effectively with Spanish‑ and English‑speaking patients.

Required profile

• Medical degree in General Medicine.
• Active registration with the Colegio de Médicos y Cirujanos de Costa Rica.
• Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Immediate availability and flexible schedule.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
