About the role

Medi Red Costa Rica is seeking a dedicated General Physician to join its medical team at the Riu Hotel in Guanacaste. The role involves delivering high‑quality primary care to both residents and international visitors in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct general medical consultations and routine check‑ups.
• Manage urgent and emergency cases both in‑clinic and through home visits.
• Assess, stabilize, and refer patients according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and medical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and other medical staff.
• Communicate effectively with Spanish‑ and English‑speaking patients.

Required profile

• Medical degree in General Medicine.
• Active registration with the Colegio de Médicos y Cirujanos de Costa Rica.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Immediate availability and flexible schedule.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused setting.
