Mechanical BIM Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical BIM Specialist to join our MEP modeling team. You will work on mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing trades, delivering high‑quality Revit models that meet client requirements and project scopes.

Key responsibilities

• Model mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems in Revit at LOD 350/400.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Review project information, identify conflicts early, and propose solutions.
• Support constructability reviews, spooling concepts, and shop‑drawing preparation.
• Collaborate with trade contractors and U.S.‑based project teams.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical/plumbing design, construction, or BIM/VDC environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for communication with native and non‑native speakers.
• Hands‑on experience with Revit for HVAC and/or plumbing modeling.
• Experience using Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.

Required skills

• Revit (LOD 350 and preferably LOD 400) for mechanical and plumbing modeling.
• Navisworks for clash detection.
• Understanding of HVAC ductwork, hydronic and refrigerant piping, domestic water, sanitary, vent, and equipment layouts.
• Familiarity with U.S. codes and standards such as IMC, IPC, and ASHRAE.
• Constructability‑focused modeling, spooling concepts, and shop‑drawing support.
