Marketing & Communications Associate Manager – Ventures & Acquisitions

About the role

The Marketing and Communications Associate Manager will lead the M&C workstream for the due‑diligence phase of Accenture’s Ventures & Acquisitions deals, primarily across the Americas. Reporting to the global M&C Deal Phase Team, the role coordinates announcement communications, brand transition planning and hand‑over to post‑merger integration teams.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to the deal‑phase playbook and enforce strict confidentiality.
• Serve as PMO for multiple deals simultaneously, managing timelines, status updates and hand‑over to PMI leads.
• Lead due‑diligence activities, including analysis, workshops with target companies and presentation of M&C findings.
• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team and Deal Sponsors to craft core acquisition messages.
• Host weekly coordination calls for each acquisition with relevant M&C team members.
• Work with the Brand team to develop and present brand transition plans.
• Create integrated communications plans, coordinate announcement preparation and ensure localisation and translation where applicable.
• Prepare a seamless hand‑over to the PMI team, highlighting areas requiring focus during integration.
• Position V&A M&C as a strategic partner delivering best practices for deal diligence and acquisition announcements.

Required profile

• Approximately 6 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a large global organization handling acquisitions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and communicating with executive leadership.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma (higher education preferred).
