Manager, Solutions Architecture – Central America

About the role

Lead and grow a high‑performing, diverse team of Solutions Architects who help customers across Central America accelerate their cloud journey on AWS. You will combine deep technical expertise with people leadership, coaching architects, shaping customer strategies, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, and mentor Solutions Architects, developing their technical and customer‑engagement skills.
• Partner with sales leadership to define and execute regional go‑to‑market strategies that drive AWS adoption across enterprise, mid‑market, and public‑sector customers.
• Participate in architecture discussions, guide complex solution designs, and represent the team’s technical perspective with customers and executives.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by creating whitepapers, best‑practice guides, and reusable technical content.
• Act as a bridge between customers, AWS service teams, marketing, and professional services to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing customer‑facing technical teams, preferably Solutions Architects.
• Strong background in cloud architecture and large‑scale computing solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop people and build inclusive, high‑performing teams.
• Comfort operating in a multicultural environment; experience in Central America or Caribbean markets is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
