Manager - ISC Finance, Tariffs

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company, a global medical technology company, is hiring a Manager for ISC Finance, Tariffs. The role covers month-end close activities related to tariffs, analysis of tariff exposures and cost impacts, and partnership with global trade, supply chain and ISC finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including tariff-related journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis and cost drivers.
• Rely on and maintain accurate tariff master data amid evolving global rulesets.
• Analyze tariff exposures and cost impacts to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Partner with global trade, supply chain and ISC finance teams to provide financial insights on tariffs.
• Communicate accounting policies and ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX and global tariff regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in tariff reporting, master data management and reconciliation.
• Support system enhancements and transformation initiatives for global tariff accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, JDE).
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is preferred.
