Manager, Business Continuity

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a hands‑on Business Continuity Management (BCM) practitioner to lead and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) with a primary focus on the global supply chain, including manufacturing sites and distribution centers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain business continuity and crisis management plans aligned with BCM standards.
• Conduct Business Impact Analyses, risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for prioritized sites and functions.
• Plan, develop and facilitate tabletop, walkthrough and functional exercises; document lessons learned and drive mitigation actions.
• Own and administer the BCM software platform (e.g., Fusion Risk Management) ensuring data quality and stakeholder access.
• Engage senior leaders to align resources with enterprise BCM standards and deliver training, playbooks and communication templates.
• Lead incident management teams during disruptive events and conduct after‑action reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, emergency management, risk management, engineering or related field with 8+ years’ experience (or Master’s with 6+ years).
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain or regulated industry environment.
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent certification such as PMP.
• Professional proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Required skills

• Fusion Risk Management software platform.
• Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Familiarity with BCM standards and frameworks (ISO 22301, DRI Professional Practices, BCI Good Practice Guidelines).
• Project management and stakeholder coordination across regions and time zones.
