Associate Sewer – Manufacturing Assembly

About the role
Performs sewing work to support manufacturing and production activities, following established procedures and guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Use tools – needles, scissors, forceps, specialized tooling, microscope – to perform assigned steps in the sewing assembly of valves.
- Perform verifications against specifications of completed steps and successive checks on colleagues' work.
- Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and SOPs, recording traceable information on device history records.
- Maintain on‑time arrival, regular attendance and a full 8‑hour work period.
- General work area housekeeping and other incidental duties.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous sewing, GMP, clean‑room, or medical‑device experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Attendance reliability and adherence to company safety and pandemic protocols.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Good hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend policies and procedures (English preferred).
- Knowledge of Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines for clean‑room medical device manufacturing.
