Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will work on‑site at the Zona Franca La Lima facility, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems operate reliably. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and fabrication tasks to keep the plant running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and building systems.
• Fabricate and repair metal structures using cutting and welding techniques.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including valves and cylinders.
• Inspect, test, and service electrical components such as transformers and wiring.
• Use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and cutting torches safely and effectively.
• Observe all safety regulations and report any hazards.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, or related trades.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
