Maintenance Technician 2 – Shift B

About the role

Philips is looking for a Maintenance Technician 2 to join the production floor on Shift B. You will be responsible for corrective, breakdown and preventive maintenance of a limited set of machines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 1st‑line (curative) repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical and PLC‑related issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and support product/process renewal initiatives.
• Coordinate contractor activities and provide day‑to‑day support to the Manufacturing Engineer or Manager.
• Document maintenance procedures and create/improve technical documentation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and troubleshoot equipment failures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical studies in maintenance, electromechanics, electronics or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a medical‑device environment.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency and solid computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of GDP, FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485 and Japan regulations is desirable.
