Linux/Ubuntu AI Trainer (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This is a remote, hourly‑paid contract position focused on supporting AI data training projects. You will work on a Linux/Ubuntu workstation, installing required applications and following detailed guidelines to generate high‑quality training data for large AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Follow written instructions to install and configure project‑specific software on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Execute structured tasks, record actions, and submit work after thorough self‑review.
• Identify and report inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues.
• Maintain focus and accuracy while performing repetitive, detail‑heavy activities.
• Communicate any support needs clearly with the project team.

Required profile

• Own a personal computer running Ubuntu or another Linux distribution.
• Comfortable installing applications and tools independently.
• Available for roughly 15 hours per week.
• Patient, detail‑oriented, and able to follow written guidelines consistently.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to meet task deadlines.
• Students, junior candidates, or tech‑savvy individuals are encouraged to apply.
