Lead Financial Analyst – Finance Business Partners

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join the Finance Business Partners (FBP) team supporting the Audit & Assurance National Office. You will act as a strategic advisor, translating business strategy into actionable financial plans and providing insights that drive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing plans, forecasts, budgets and analytics for the A&A National Office.
• Calculate bill and cost rates, assess impacts on ongoing projects, and support project‑plan development.
• Analyze financial data, investments and performance to identify business drivers and provide recommendations.
• Collect and analyze data using advanced techniques to uncover trends and relationships.
• Assess management reporting processes and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to enterprise planning, capital management and internal change programs aimed at efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of finance experience with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Costa Rica without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Foundational knowledge of financial systems like SAP and Anaplan.
