Key Account Manager – Costa Rica

About the role

Signify is looking for a Key Account Manager based in Costa Rica to develop and nurture relationships with professional trade accounts. You will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of electrical wholesalers, distributors and installer networks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key professional trade accounts and achieve sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute joint business plans with trade partners to increase sell‑out, product listings and market share.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and optimise assortment, pricing and promotions.
• Collaborate with installers and contractors to generate demand and pull‑through from trade partners.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management and CRM reporting.
• Monitor trade marketing, logistics and after‑sales execution to ensure operational excellence.
• Deliver partner enablement through training on new products, connected solutions and sustainability offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in key account management or sales within professional trade sectors.
• Background in lighting, electrical or industrial goods is preferred.
