Junior Site Engineer – On-site in Santa Teresa

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Junior Site Engineer to join our on‑ground team in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, supporting the construction of a high‑end luxury accommodation project. The role involves daily reporting, data collection, and ensuring all site documentation is up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily report data into the software, gathering information from Site Engineers on weather, personnel, equipment, work completed, materials, inspections, safety issues and delays.
• Organize and maintain technical documentation, project plans and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry and company standards.
• Identify operational problems and suggest process improvements.
• Step in for the Site Engineer when required, attend high‑level meetings and support strategic decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, track variations and manage inspection logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum two years of experience in construction site roles such as Inspector, Project Engineer, Field Engineer or Site Supervisor.
• Proficiency in construction software; experience with Procore is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican building codes, regulations and construction practices.
• Fluent English for communication with international management and site teams.
