IT Solution Consultant – Business Systems Analyst (Remote, Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Solution Consultant to join DHL Express' Compliance and Clearance team. The position is fully remote and based in Costa Rica, where you will act as a Business Systems Analyst, translating business needs into clear, testable system requirements and supporting delivery, testing, and user acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and convert them into functional and system specifications.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming.
• Use Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, documentation, and delivery artifacts.
• Support testing activities, including test scenario creation, execution, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Collaborate with front‑end, back‑end, integration, and data development teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Engage with global stakeholders and facilitate cross‑regional collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
