IT Project Manager – Medical Device Industry (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex projects within the medical device sector. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates located in Costa Rica or elsewhere, who can communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver software, maintenance, development, and implementation projects following ITIL and other best‑practice methodologies.
• Manage remote and offshore project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate customer relationships, track project progress, and report status to senior management.
• Oversee ERP and infrastructure implementations, ensuring integration with existing systems.
• Maintain project documentation, budgets, and timelines using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT project or program management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑technology projects on time and within budget.
• Advanced fluency in English and Spanish.
• Background in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• PMP, Agile, or similar certification is a plus.
